Mark Napier, Managing Director, The Centre for Public Innovation
Mark is a leading advocate for innovation in the public and voluntary sectors, both as practitioner and as a thought leader. As Managing Director, he leads CPI's strategic development.
Mark has run innovation projects for a wide range of local, regional and national public and voluntary sector clients, spanning health, social care and criminal justice. He has also chaired and spoken at several national and international conferences.
Mark is widely published and has contributed to a number of policy and strategy papers for the Cabinet Office, Treasury, Audit Commission and other government departments as well as participating in international discussions around issues regarding public innovation.
He believes strongly in the power of local communities and users of services to help drive improved outcomes and has applied grass roots innovation models with great success.
