Annette Hogarth - NHS Commissioning Expert

Annette has had considerable experience of commissioning through the range of roles undertaken in Primary Care Trusts and through the joint role with the Local Authority. This has included writing a joint commissioning strategy for the PCT and Local Authority and supporting the development of the PCTs five year commissioning strategy in response to World Class Commissioning. With a good understanding of Public Health and operational experience as Director of Patient services and Nursing (which included clinical lead for IM & T), Annette has gained a broad understanding of the NHS . This is complemented by theoretical knowledge through academic qualifications and experiential learning as a practitioner.

Her recent role  has included developing quality schedules and CQUINs, working with  all Primary Care independent contractors and Community  Services, managing  Fitness to Practice for independent contractors , GP appraisal and supporting the development of revalidation processes.
