Eleanor Goodison - Parliamentary Training Consultant
Eleanor Goodison has over 30 years' senior level experience in central government as well as substantial experience in voluntary, community and church activities. With 8 years at the National School of Government, she has particular expertise in learning and development.
Eleanor has helped dozens of people prepare for appearances before Parliamentary Select Committees and similar occasions. She led the National School's input to the Civil Service Live event in April 2008 (5,000 participants over three days) and on the even bigger event in July 2009. She and her team also organised the Prime Minister's Public Service Reform conference in March 2007.
Eleanor has been Private Secretary to the Minister for the Arts, Secretary to the Civil Service Commissioners and Finance Director of an Executive Agency. She spent a year on secondment to the Dutch Ministry of Internal Affairs, where she led a pilot project on e-learning. She was also involved in a three year project to establish an impartial Civil Service in post-conflict Kosovo.
