John Cannon - Parliamentary Training Consultant
John has over 30 years experience working in government. First as a VAT man and then as a policy adviser, consultant and trainer. He has an MA in Personal and Organisational Development.
Having worked closely with Parliament as a Select Committee Liaison Officer, he has also worked for the British and Australian Governments on energy policy and advised the South Africans, Ugandans, Tanzanians, Ukrainians, Moldovans and Cambodians on strategy and policy development. In addition, as a freelance consultant and trainer John has worked with a number of UK government departments including the DWP and the Home Office as well as agencies, non-departmental public bodies and third sector organisations. John specialises in strategy and policy as well as effective writing and briefing.
John is a professional storyteller: facilitating at conferences; fundraising; and entertaining.
