Dr Scott Kelly - Research Fellow, Centre for Policy Studies

Dr Scott Kelly lectures in British Politics and Contemporary History at New York University (NYU) in London and is Chief of Staff to John Hayes MP, Shadow Minister for Higher Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills. He is the author of The Myth of Mr Butskell: the Politics of British Economic Policy 1950-55 (Ashgate, 2002) and of various academic articles and policy papers. From 2002 to 2005 he was a member of the Conservative Party Policy Unit. Since 2009 he has been a research fellow at the Centre for Policy Studies (CPS).
