Sophie Taylor - Private Secretary to Rt Hon Michael Gove MP, Department for Education

Sophie has been Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families for 2 years. She works on all aspects of the schools portfolio for the Secretary of State, including primary and secondary school standards, testing and assessment, teachers and the school workforce. In previous jobs Sophie has worked on the Academies programme in the then DCSF, and in the central finance division of the then Department for Education and Skills.
