Detlef Golletz - South East England Development Agency
Detlef has been practising in Planning and Transport for over 25 years, firstly in the private sector, then for a number of public sector authorities. For the past 10 years his work in the public sector concentrated on regeneration and transport infrastructure. Since Autumn 2009, Detlef has taken over the entire European funding programs in the Agency with responsibility for ESF, ERDF Competitive Program, the Rural Program, Framework 7 Program projects and Interreg investment projects in the A, B and C strands in the North West Europe and North Sea program areas. The total value of this portfolio is £100m.
Detlef has published articles on polycentric development in the Kent Thames Gateway in a publication series of the German Planning Ministry (BBau) and articles on European Funding Projects. He studied in Berlin, Oxford and Glasgow and is a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute. He has given lectures at TU Berlin, Bauhaus University Weimar, Oxford Brookes University and University College London.
