Jonathan Morgan AM

Jonathan Morgan AM (Con, Cardiff North) - Chair, Public Accounts Committee

Jonathan Morgan AM was elected to the Welsh Assembly in 1999. He served as education spokesman during the first assembly term and was then handed the health brief in 2003. He then became Shadow Minister for Health and Social Services in the Assembly until 2009.

Jonathan is a graduate of the University of Wales, Cardiff, where he gained a degree in Law and a Masters degree in European Policy. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and lists Europe, education, health and local government among his interests. Before election to the assembly, Jonathan was European officer for Coleg Glan Hafren in Cardiff.
