Alun Davies

Alun Davies AM (Labour, Mid and West Wales Region)

Alun Davies is the Assembly Member for Mid and West Wales Region and has was first elected in 2007. Alun also runs his own Public Affairs consultancy, Bute Communications, which he set up in 2004.

Prior to entering politics, Alun was Director of Corporate Affairs at the Welsh-speaking TV station S4C. Before this he was Head of Public Affairs at the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority. Alun was born and brought up in Tredegar and was educated at Tredegar Comprehensive School and the University College of Wales Aberystwyth.
