Sheree Dodd – Media and Communications Consultant

Sheree Dodd is a communications consultant with extensive senior level experience in government. After a career in journalism with many years as a political correspondent based in the Westminster lobby, she joined the civil service as Head of News in the Northern Ireland Office just in time for the Good Friday Agreement. Posts as Head of Media and Press Secretary to the Secretary of State in the Department for Work and Pensions and Director of Communications at the DTI followed.

In May 2005 she established her communications consultancy and has worked for a range of public and private sector clients. These clients include the Sentencing Guidelines Council and the House of Commons Commission. She has wide experience in training and presentation and is one of the tutors delivering the Government Communications Network Foundation Course at the National School of Government.
