Steve McGinness - Head of Information Office, House of Commons
Stephen was originally a scientist, researching metal contaminated soil and water at the Camborne School of Mines, before finding a position in the House of Commons Library as an environment specialist. He spent six years providing Members of Parliament with information on subjects as diverse as engineering, climate change and animal experiments before moving to become the Head of the House of Commons Information Office. Stephen now runs the office which provides a range of material on the work, history and membership of the House of Commons and a telephone helpline for people with questions on those subjects.
