Roseanna Cunningham MSP

Roseanna Cunningham MSP - (SNP, Perth)

Roseanna has represented Perth since winning the seat in a Westminster by-election in 1995, being a dual mandate MP/MSP until 2001. She worked as a solicitor until she was called as an Advocate in December 1990, and is still a member of the Faculty of Advocates. In the Scottish Parliament, Roseanna has been Convener of the Justice Committee and held the Justice portfolio for the SNP. She is currently Convener of the Rural Affairs and Environment Committee. She was SNP deputy leader from 2000 to 2004, when she lost the leadership contest to Alex Salmond. Her interests outside politics include traditional music, reading, and hill walking.
