David Allan

David Allan - Strategic Consultant

An experienced change and internal communications practitioner, David has over 20 years experience in managing organisational changes across commercial and public sectors, Blue Chip and small organisations, and a large variety of industry sectors.

Prior to joining COI Strategic Consultancy in 2005, David ran his own change management consultancy business focusing on Leadership Development, Performance Management, Communications, Staff Engagement and Accelerated Change Management.

David's had a corporate career spanning some 15 years with Courtaulds, ICI and Associated British Foods involving a variety or roles in HR and Communications.

To date in COI David has been involved in the development of:

  • the HR transformation strategy at the Department of Health;
  • an internal communication and stakeholder communication plan for the Youth Justice Board;
  • change communications to support the establishment of NHS London materials and processes to assist staff in the agencies of the Criminal Justice System to better manage intimidated and vulnerable witnesses;
  • an internal communication strategy for the civil service in Bosnia and Poland.
