Fergus Reid

Fergus Reid – Clerk, Justice Select Committee

Fergus Reid has had a longstanding career in the civil service. For 15 years he has been a House of Commons Clerk. He has worked on the Health, Foreign Affairs and Standards and Priveleges Committees. He also had a leading role in the creation of the Environmental Audit Committee and in the running of the Culture, Media and Sports Committee. In addition to all of this he has worked in the Commons Journal Office, the Table Office and most recently the he has become the Clerk of the Justice Select Committee.
